The Internet sensation Grumpy Cat has died.
The feline, famous for her scowling face, passed away on Tuesday.
Despite being world famous and worth a fortune, she didn't bow out in a rock 'n' roll-style blaze of glory.
Her owners say she died following complications from a urinary tract infection.
Grumpy Cat, who was seven years old, has 2.4 million followers on Instagram.
Her real name was Tardar Sauce, and first went viral in 2012, being used in countless memes and making several TV and movie appearances.
'Some days are grumpier than others'
In a statement, her family said they are "unimaginably heartbroken".
"Besides being our baby and a cherished member of the family, Grumpy Cat has helped millions of people smile all around the world – even when times were tough", they said.
"Her spirit will continue to live on through her fans everywhere."
