The number of families from outside the EU becoming homeless in Dublin is rising.
Figures show one in five families in emergency accommodation in Dublin are from outside of the European Union.
According to The Dublin Regional Homeless Executive, 67% of families falling into homelessness are Irish.
12% were born in the EU, while 21% were born outside of the EU.
The Executive says it faces a "significant challenge" figuring out what homeless people from non EU countries are entitled to.
It also says a lack of major house building projects is making it harder for homeless people to move into their own home.
