A man's been rushed to hospital after being hit by a bin truck in Clondalkin - his condition is unknown.
It happened at an unofficial protest by workers at Greyhound Household.
98fm's Maria Shannon is there:
The collection crews at recycling company Greyhound Household are on strike.
Workers in Dublin City Council areas started the unofficial action today in a row with management over new terms and conditions.
The company says it regrets the strike which goes against a labour court recommendation.
Commercial customers and those in south Dublin are not affected.
Greyhound household says its trying to maintain a full service to its customers although collections today may run slightly late.
