A Foxrock man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of care worker Elaine O’Hara whose body was found in the Dublin Mountains in 2013.
Graham Dwyer, with an address at Kerrymount Close, is accused of killing her a year before her remains were discovered.
It was standing room only in Court 6 at the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning where 42-year-old Graham Dwyer pleaded not guilty to Elaine O’Hara’s murder.
The 36-year-old childcare worker from Killiney, went missing in August 2012.
She was last seen at a cemetery in south Dublin where her mother is buried.
Just over one year later, her remains were found by a walker in the Dublin Mountains.
Graham Dwyer was arrested at his home in Foxrock, a home he shared with his wife and two children.
Today, Mr. Justice Paul Carney warned potential jurors that this would be a difficult case, particularly for those who are “squeamish”.
He also told the panel they should not sit on the jury if they have know the accused or victim or had any connection with their hometowns, places of work or an explicit adult website which Elaine O’Hara used, alt.com
The trial is due to begin hearing evidence tomorrow.
