There has been condemnation of threatening graffiti in Dublin targeting the Taoiseach.
Dublin City Council has been asked to remove the message, appearing to target Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, on a wall opposite Goldenbridge Luas stop in Dublin 8.
The message states ‘kill Leo Veradkar, he sold out the Irish”.
Dublin City Council says: "Dublin City Council has contacted the owner of this private property with regard to the offensive graffiti. The owner has advised that he plans to have the graffiti removed within the next 24 hours."
Local councillor Daithi Doolan says: "Regardless of deep differences with Leo Varadkar and Fine Gael I hope this is removed as soon as possible. This offensive and threatening graffiti offers nothing to our community.
"If people want real change then they should become active in their community and work together and bring about the change we all want.
"This graffiti does none of that and does not represent the good people of Drimnagh and Inchicore."
I have contacted @dubcl asking that this graffiti is removed.
