Golden Discs is re-opening in Dublin. Again. The first store will throw open its doors at The Square in Tallaght, while a second one is opening on Henry Street.
Since the recession hit, Golden Discs has closed and re-opened stores a number of stores including in locations like Stephen's Green Shopping Centre, Henry Street and Jervis.
A spokesperson has admitted the new Henry Street store will "probably" be a pop-up for Christmas, while the Tallaght branch is said to be a permanent fixture.
Stephen Fitzgerald, CEO of Golden Discs, said he is "really excited to be opening new stores" and that the "vinyl renaissance" is making them refocus their efforts.
Golden Discs, which first opened in 1962, has also launched a web-store, offering thousands of its most popular items for sale by delivery.
