People dropping off or collecting friends and family from Dublin Airport will soon have to pay.
Fingal County Council has given the green light for daa to operate new paid-for drop-off and pick-up zones according to the Irish Independent.
The company says it's part of a sustainability drive that aims to reduce car journeys to and from the airport and to encourage more passengers to use public transport.
A free option for drop off's and collections will still be available but it will be at a new dedicated area of the Express red long term car park. While there will be special provisions for people with reduced mobility.
Construction is expected to begin during the second half of this year but the system won't be in place for the upcoming summer season.
