The sister of George Nkencho has told his funeral mass his death was "untimely, unplanned and unwanted".
The 27-year-old was shot dead by a Garda during an armed stand-off outside his home in December.
In her eulogy, Gloria Nkencho urged people to "Remember George not for what they said about him, but for who he is".
Mr Nkencho was buried at Mulhuddart Cemetery this afternoon following the Mass at the Sacred Heart church in Huntstown.
