Things are hotting up on the general election campaign trail.
Firefighters were called to an election poster on fire in Kilbarrack earlier.
In a tweet, they're reminding people that posters are generally attached to public infrastructure - such as street lighting - and fires like these can cause damage.

Dublin City Council says: "It has been our experience in previous elections that numerous complaints have been received from motorists and pedestrians in relation to safety issues associated with election posters."
Its own staff have also raised a number of concerns.
