Motorists are being advised Gardai will be out in force this Bank Holiday Weekend.
They will be on the lookout for people speeding, drink-drivers, as well as people using their mobile phones while behind the wheel.
3 people died over the May Bank Holiday Weekend last year - and Gardaí say they are determined not to let that figure rise.
