Gardaí have broken up a protest by Debenhams staff in Dublin, for breaching COVID-19 restrictions.
Workers at the Cork and Dublin stores staged a demonstration this morning after the retailer announced its Irish branches wouldn't reopen following the coronavirus outbreak.
The protesters claim they cleared their plan with local Garda stations beforehand, but this was disputed by Gardaí patrolling Henry Street.
