Gardaí investigating the murder of Tina Satchwell have renewed their appeal for information.
A man in his 50s, who was arrested earlier today in East Cork, is being questioned on suspicion of her murder.
Human remains were discovered at a house in Youghal yesterday evening and have been removed to Cork University Hospital for further analysis.
Tina Satchwell was 45 when she went missing on the 20th of March, 2017.
Speaking at Midleton Garda Station this evening, Superintendent Adrian Gamble says Gardaí are continuing to provide support to Tina's family:
"A family liaison officer has been appointed," he said.
The Superintendent continued to say his thoughts, and the thoughts of the entire investigation team, are "firmly and continue to be" with the family "at this difficult time."
