Gardai are investigating an alleged sex assault on a woman in a car in Dublin 4.
It is reported to have happened in the Shelbourne Road, Ballsbridge, Merrion Road, Serpentine Avenue area last weekend.
The woman told officers the man was in his late twenties or early thirties, with a short beard, glasses, short dark hair and a short sleeved shirt.
The attack is alleged to have taken place on Sunday the 9th December between 12:45am and 3:44am.
Gardaí want to speak with anyone who noticed anything suspicious around Shelbourne Road, Ballsbridge, Merrion Road and Serpentine Avenue during that time.
They are also hoping to speak with anyone who saw the injured woman in the Mountjoy Square area between 02:14am and 03:44am.
Any motorists with relevant dash-cam footage are being asked to offer it up to a Garda station, and anyone who has any other information they believe may help in the investigation is being asked to contact Gardai.
