A man is due in court later this month after gardaí in south Dublin foiled an attempted bike theft yesterday.
Officers were called out after 6pm when a man was seen using an angle grinder to take the bicycle in Booterstown.
They arrested a suspect and seized the bike and the cutting tool.
The man, who is in his 40s, has since been charged, and is due before Dún Laoghaire District Court at the end of this month.
