Gardai are at the scene of an incident in Dublin where a man has climbed onto the top of a building at the site of a new housing development.
Officers in Dun Laoghaire say a man 'gained access to a crane and climbed to height - placing himself in a dangerous and precarious position'.
It's believed the incident is an act of protest at the site of a proposed new co-living development in the town.
Gardai say they are continuing to engage with the man to try to minimise the risk to him.
