Gardaí are gathering CCTV footage from the home of a man who was shot dead in Dublin last night.
Stephen Moran, who was in his 40s and originally from Limerick, was known to Gardai.
He was shot by a lone gunman at his front door at Earlsfort View in Lucan at around 7.30 yesterday evening.
He was found by Gardaí in his front garden.
A burned out car was found near the scene, Gardai believe this may be connected to the shooting.
Officers are appealing to witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
