The funeral of Dublin mother of two Lisa Thompson will take place this morning.
The 52 year old was stabbed to death during an attack in her home in Sandyhill Court, Ballymun before being discovered by neighbours on May 10th.
She will be laid to rest this morning following a service at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Ballymun at 10am.
On Friday, locals and friends held a vigil in memory of the former youth worker at the Axis Centre in Ballymun.
They joined the victim's family in a minute's silence while wearing T-shirts with Lisa's face emblazoned on them.
She was remembered a woman with "a heart of gold" who was "one of a kind".
Investigations into her death are ongoing.
