There's a fresh bid to put a northbound Luas stop on Dawson Street.
An Bord Pleaneala gave the go-ahead last year for trams to travel up the thoroughfare, but refused permission for a stop at the entrance to Royal Hibernian Way.
It said it would clog up the area with pedestrians and compromise the character of the street.
Richard Guiney of Dublin Business Improvement District says they're lobbying the Railway Procurement Agency to try and change the decision
