College Green will be pedestrianised for a day the weekend after next to mark European Mobility Week.
Dublin City Council says the street will be closed to traffic from 7am to 7pm on Sunday the 22nd of September.
It said more family events and live music are planned, as with the three previous trial days over the last couple of months.
Public notices of the road closures will be published in tomorrow's newspapers.
It will be the fourth time the area has been shut down in the last few months.
Dublin City Council ran three trial pedestrian days on weekends in July and September.
Last year An Bord Pleanála rejected a city council plan to pedestrianise College Green and the eastern end of Dame Street.
