A man in his 40s has been arrested in connection with the murder of Josip Strok in Clondalkin earlier this year.
The 31-year-old Croatian man was attacked on Grange View Way while walking with a friend, and suffered severe head injuries.
He died from the injuries four days later in Tallaght University Hospital.
Two men appeared in court in April, charged with his murder, while a third man arrested at the same time was released without charge.
Gardaí say the man arrested yesterday is detained at a Garda station in West Dublin, and the investigation is ongoing.
