Four people are due in court today after 38 dogs were kept in inhumane conditions in Citywest.
A snake and tarantulas were also found during the garda search just before Christmas.
On Wednesday the 1st of December, gardai from Tallaght - with the help of the DSPCA and the Dog Warden - searched two apartments in Citywest.
During their search they found 38 dogs being kept in inhumane conditions.
They also found cats, parrots, tarantulas, a snake, a scorpion and a millipede.
The animals were removed from the premises and brought for veterinary treatment.
Four people have now been charged as part of the investigation
The two men and two women aged in their 20s and 30s are due before Tallaght District Court this morning
Four people have been arrested and charged as part of an ongoing investigation into the seizure of a variety of animals that were being kept in inhumane living conditions in Citywest, County Dublin, on Wednesday 1st December 2021.
The two women (aged in their 30s) and two men (aged in their 20s and 30s) are expected to appear before Tallaght District Court at 10:30am this morning.
