Four people have been detained by Gardaí in connection with yesterday's shooting in Lucan on Dublin's westside.
A 43-year-old man was shot a number of times in his car at Griffeen Glen and seriously hurt.
He's in a stable condition at Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown today.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage taken between the scene in Lucan and where a getaway vehicle was dumped yesterday afternoon in Bray.
They're also now seeking witnesses to any unusual activity at the Old Bog Road at Killeighter, Kilcock, in Co Kildare between 8pm and 9pm last night.
