A former Love Island contestant says he is "shocked and appalled" after this year's Love Island contestants received death threats online.
Dr Alex George who appeared on the reality show in 2018, hit out at those making cruel comments about Chloe Burrows and telling her to "kill herself".
He took Instagram saying he was sad to see how much negativity and hate there's been online during this series of Love Island.
He said it was "hard to comprehend that people are sending death threats and encouraging contestants to 'kill themselves' just because they don't like what they are seeing on screen."
George, who lost his brother to suicide last year, questioned had people learnt nothing since the passing of former Love Island presenter, Caroline Flack.
