The doors open this morning at Ireland's first manufacturing facility for human stem cells.
The Centre for Cell Manufacturing Ireland at NUI Galway will supply the adult cells for use in clinical trials that have got regulatory approval.
It's hoped they'll be used to treat conditions like heart disease, diabetes and arthritis.
