The first planning application for a core bus corridor under Dublin's BusConnects project has been lodged with An Bord Pleanála.
It will cover the route from Clongriffin to the city centre and is one of sixteen continuous bus lanes planned.

The project aims to transform the capital's bus network with 230km of bus corridors and 200km of segregated cycle tracks.
It will also see the introduction of a new state of the art ticketing system, new bus livery, bus stations and shelters and new park and ride facilities.
