A million people are battling water restrictions across the city this morning.
Dublin City Council imposed the nightly shutdowns because of a production problem at the Ballymore Eustace Treatment Plant - with Dublin and parts of Kildare and Wicklow effected.
Restrictions came into force at 8 o'clock last night and will end at 7 this morning - but will resume again at 6 this evening.
Meanwhile, firefighters are urging the council to lift the restrictions tonight - as Hallowe'en is one of it's busiest nights of the year.
