An investigation is underway after a man in his 20s was assaulted in Dublin yesterday evening.
It's understood he was bundled into a car in Finglas before being attacked.
Gardaí say they're investigating all of the circumstances around the assault, that's also investigated as false imprisonment.
The Irish Daily Star reports the man was abducted, put into a car in the Cappagh area, before being assaulted. He was later left off near Dunsink Lane according to the paper.
The man was taken to hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Gardaí say no arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
