The family of Patrick Halpin have thanked people for their support in the search for the 18-year-old.
Police in London believe a body found on a roof near Leicester Square yesterday is that of the Dublin City University student.
Mr Halpin, from Loughrea in Co Galway, was last seen at the Zoo bar and club off Leicester Square shortly after 12am on Wednesday.
The student was on a trip to London with other students when he became separated from friends.
Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious.
