10,000 people are expected to attend the Family Day Festival this afternoon in the Iveagh Gardens in Dublin.
One Family organised the event and it boasts the largest celebration of the diversity of families in Ireland today.
The event honours family life in all its guises, from civil partnerships and the traditional nuclear model to the lone-parent family.
