Staff at ESB are threatening to switch off all their power at 8AM on December 16th.
Workers are in talks with management, in a row over the company's pension scheme.
Talks between the two sides began again this morning at an undisclosed location here in the city.
They’re trying to end the pensions row which will see the lights go out at 8am on December 16th.
The Energy Minister, who asked the LRC to intervene, says there is no threat to pensions at the company.
However, Dun Laoghaire TD Richard Boyd Barrett has rubbished that claim in the Dail.
Contingency plans are in place if an agreement isn't reached by Monday week.
