ESB crews will be working this morning to restore power to homes across the country.
Over five and a half thousand homes were left without power last night.
ESB restored service to over 60-thousand homes nationwide yesterday.
People are being advised to check their website at www.esbpowerchek.ie to ensure that their fault is logged.
Meanwhile Eircom customers are being advised to report any faults.
Fault levels remain high in many parts of the country because of the weather conditions.
Eircom says crews will work throughout the weekend to restore power.
