Councillors have voted to keep charging drivers to cross the Eastlink bridge, when Dublin City Council takes control of it at the end of next year.
At the moment a Dutch company operates the bridge but the council will get full ownership once that contract finishes at the end of 2015.
Councillors were told at a meeting last night that the tolls could generate 4 million euro a year in revenue.
