Almost €50 million has been paid out in claims from trips and falls on paths and roads by Dublin City Council in recent years.
The figures cover the period from 2017 to September this year. It follows a request from Fianna Fáil councillor Keith Connolly.
Last year there were 715 claims with €8.2 million paid out. Already this year 348 claims have been lodged.
That compares to over 900 in 2017, totaling 9.6 million euro.
