Team Dublin Clean-Up Day is Dublin's response to An Taisce's National Spring Clean.
It's building on the success of the likes of Dublin Canals Action Day and Dublin Waters Action Day.
Deputy Lord Mayor of Dublin, Joe Costello, says they hope to make a big difference.
"The idea is that every effort will be made by the business community and the residential community," he said.
"We would look at the streets of Dublin in particular but also look at the canals, look at the beaches, look at the rivers and the streams."
