Dublin Zoo has welcomed two baby red ruffed lemur pups!
The pair were born to parents Pierre and Fifi on April 25th and are the latest additions to the seven red ruffed lemurs already in the zoo.
The brother and sister have yet to be named but Dubliners can visit them in Dublin Zoo this weekend.
The red ruffed lemur is listed as being critically endangered after a big decline in population. The fall is mainly due to habitat loss and hunting.
In the wild, red ruffed lemurs can only be found in the rain forest region of north-east Madagascar.
This Saturday and Sunday, Dublin Zoo are holding a Long Live Lemurs weekend so people can learn more about the species and their habitat. It'll take place from midday to 4pm both days and will give families a chance to see special lemur keeper talks, lemur themed arts and crafts and music.
