A Dublin teenager has picked up 45-thousand euro at the Fortnite World Cup.
17 year old Joshua Juliano was among those competing for a prize of 2.7 million euro at the sold out Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York.
Joshua was up against the world's top 100 players, and reached 58th place after ten weeks of open qualifiers.
He's tweeted to say: "Sad I performed badly on the day, but still really happy to get to play against the Top 100 players in the world and be on stage. Hopefully I will do better in more tournaments to come."
An American teenager, 16-year-old Kyle Giersdorf, from Pennsylvania, won three million dollars after taking the top prize.
Just 100 players qualified for the event out of 40 million players of the "battle royale" style video game.
The 30 million dollar prize pool was the largest purse in the history of e-sports.
