A Dublin TD has recommended that families should take regular antigen tests.
She's making the appeal in the run up to Christmas, especially for those with elderly or vulnerable family members.
Fine Gael's Emer Higgins says those out socialising should take regular tests.
The Dublin Mid West TD says people should plan ahead from now until December 25th.

It comes as the Department of Health has reported a fall in Covid-19 cases today.
4,004 new cases of the virus have been reported, a drop from 4,115 yesterday.
There has also been a drop in patients being treated for Covid-19 in hospitals. It's down by 30 to 481.
The HSE is urging people to attend walk-in booster clinics again tomorrow.
