Dublin streets are the 10th most congested in the world and the 6th most congested in Europe
The survey from satnav maker Tom Tom shows that the worst time of the week for traffic jams are Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings.
Commuters spend on average 8 working days a year in traffic and congestion is adding 96 hours a year to travel time for frustrated Dublin motorists.
The study shows congestion during the morning rush-hour increases journey times by 74 percent.
The evening figures is 71 percent.
