Dublin saw the greatest number of house sales last year.
Almost 10 thousand 200 properties were sold in Dublin, an increase of 17 percent on 2012.
Commuter counties including Kildare, Wicklow and Meath also performed well, according to a new study from property website, myhome.ie.
