The energy crisis has prompted one Dublin pub to make the most of rising fuel costs.
Doyle's Corner in Phibsborough is asking customers to come "chill" with them every Tuesday in October, when they're turning the heating down.
Customers are being asked to bring their coat and get 20 per cent off the food bill.
The pub posted about it's new "chillcount" offer on facebook;
"So now there is a chill in the air with a bag of coal gone from €16 a bag to €33 we thought now might be a good time to launch our new Tuesday promo. Bring yer coat and get 20% off your food bill."
It comes after a bar in Smithfield defended confronting a customer for using an extension lead to charge three devices for several hours.
See it all now. Customee sits for 4.5 hours and plugs 3 devices into his own plug board. Ireland 2022 summed up in 1 image#whatenergycrisis #cheeky pic.twitter.com/7pOB3PGcwo
