A Dublin establishment has decided not to serve Coca-Cola for the duration of the Sochi winter Olympics in protest at the crackdown on LGBT rights in Russia.
Gay Bar, The George, posted a statement on their Facebook page saying that due to the continued persecution faced by the LGBT community the soft drink would not be served throughout the games.
The Winter Olympics continue until the 23rd of February and on Friday night a 40 thousand strong crowd attended the opening ceremony.
