Dana Erlich requested a meeting with Daithí De Róiste which will take place next Wednesday on International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
In a statement last night, the Mayor said the plans were agreed with the Group Leaders of Dublin City Council and that he will put forward their "disgust" towards their "actions of genocide in Gaza."

People Before Profit councillor Hazel De Nortuin says the people she represents want no communication with the ambassador while the conflict rages on;
"We should be enforcing our stance that's been broadly pushed by thousands of people out on the street for six Saturday's in a row, saying that we should be cutting off ties with the Israeli ambassador. I think that message has been said very loud and clear by Dubliners."
