Europe is loaning Dublin €150M to help connect the two LUAS lines.
It'll go towards joining the red and green lines, as well as ten new trams and thirteen new stops.
Jonathan Taylor from the European Investment Bank says the loan proves how committed it is to supporting projects in Ireland.
The government will pay the loan back over 25 years.
