Hundreds have taken part in a demonstration in Dublin city objecting to a proposed hotel development around The Cobblestone pub.
Trad musicians played in procession as people marched down the quays from Smithfield to O'Connell Bridge.
The Mulligan family, who have operated the world-famous trad-music pub for 30 years, say more than 100 objections to the nine-storey development have so far been submitted to Dublin City Council.
Over 6-thousand signatures have also been gathered by an online petition.
Manager of the Cobblestone Tomás Mulligan, says he's overwhelmed at the support:
"It's very emotional for all of my family as well that our dad actually did something that made a difference to everyone and these people care about it and they're out here.
"They're out here because they don't want to see this happen. None of us want to see this happen. I don't see any marches for hotels.
