The reasons we ranked so high is down to the authorities relaxed approach to buskers.
Dublin has also been rated as one of the top ten friendliest cities in the world.
Tripadvisor users also ranked the city 5th for its hotels.
However travellers deducted points for high prices and what they saw as a lack of cultural attractions, so the city fell out of the top ten to 18th place in the 'overall experience' category.
