Dublin Fire Brigade have been dealing with three fires on the Northside.

Crews are out in Bull Island, Howth and Ballyboughal tackling gorse and grass fires.

Three crews, a water tanker and incident unit are tackling a blaze on the Hill of Howth.

A member of the public dialled 999 just after 1.30 after the blaze broke out near Balscadden.

It wasn't the first fire they were called to today.

Three units put out a grass fire near a golf club in Ballyboughal in North County Dublin.

And just a short time, two crews were sent out to deal with another fire, this time on Bull Island.

It's been a busy few days for Dublin Fire Brigade, over the weekend - they dealt with gorse fires on Howth Head while a number of units had to be ferried out to Ireland's Eye to put out fires there.
