A Dublin father appeared in court this weekend, following his arrest for drunkenly ransacking his former partner's home.
The incident is alleged to have taken place on St. Patrick's Day.
The man - in his 40s - appeared before Dublin District Court, charged with breaching a protection order.
The alleged incident comes months after he was accused of attacking his former partner - whom he has children with.
The man cannot be identified due to the Domestic Violence Act's reporting restrictions.
After his arrest on Friday, the court heard that he spat and urinated in a Garda station cell, and made threats to officers - he may face further charges.
The judge refused bail, and remanded him in custody.
He is due to appear again in court before the end of the month.
