A Dublin family's said to be devastated by the sentence handed down to a man who knocked down and fatally injured their teenage son.
33 year old Ruadhan Tracey from Lagore Green, Dunshaughlin in County Meath admitted careless driving causing the death of 14 year old Conor Hickey at Fassaugh Road on the second of December 2011.
He was given a 20 month sentence for the crime, but that is to run concurrently with a jail term for armed robbery he's already serving, meaning he won't do any extra time.
The judge in the case said she also had to give credit to Mr Tracey for an early guilty plea but Sinn Fein Councillor in Cabra Seamus McGrattan thinks that's even more upsetting for Conor's family:
