Don't get a fright if you are walking along the Dublin coast today.
The Dublin coastguard is carrying out training exercises off Sandycove this afternoon.
Several lifeboats and a helicopter are involved in the drills.
The Coastguard dealt with 2,627 incidents last year - a 33% increase in just 12 months.
