Dublin Bus says most of the problems with real-time passenger information have been fixed but admitted it's still short on drivers.
The National Transport Authority told the Oireachtas Transport committee last night that while cancellations have significantly reduced, congestion is continuing to disrupt bus services in the capital.
Dublin Bus says it's hired 39 drivers in the last month but it's still 120 short.
The company's CEO, Billy Hann. says they've been working on a software bug affecting the system that provides the live travel information;
"Since we last met with the committee further technical errors have been resolved with a software delivery on December the 1st 2022. Since then the company has undertaken the largest on-street survey in the history of the organisation."
He went on to say "our surveys have found RTPI is operating at nearly 98 per cent accuracy."
